What is cave tubing at Pindul Cave?
Cave tubing involves floating on a rubber inner tube along a 350-meter underground river. You drift past ancient karst formations, stalactites, and stalagmites in three distinct lighting zones.
How much is the entrance fee for Goa Pindul?

How long does the Pindul Cave tubing take?
The tubing journey through the cave takes 45 to 60 minutes. If you add the Oyo River extension, expect the total water time to reach around two hours.
Is Goa Pindul safe for children and beginners?

How do I get to Pindul Cave from Yogyakarta?

Can you swim in Pindul Cave?
You stay on your tube for the vast majority of the cave float. The water depth ranges from 5 to 12 meters, and staying on the tube is required for safety.
What should I wear to Pindul Cave?
Wear swimwear or clothing you are comfortable getting entirely wet. Use secure water shoes or sandals. Bring dry clothes and a towel for afterward. See Packing Guide.
Are there bats inside Pindul Cave?
Yes. A colony of fruit bats lives on the ceiling in the darker sections of the cave. Your local guide will point them out as you float past.
Is Pindul Cave open during the rainy season?
It remains open year-round. However, tubing operations are suspended during heavy rainfall if water levels rise to dangerous heights.
What is the difference between Pindul Cave and Jomblang Cave?

Can I combine Pindul Cave and Oyo River tubing?
Yes. Many operators offer a combo package for IDR 100,000 to 150,000. After the dark cave, you continue tubing down the open-air Oyo River.
Are there lockers available at Goa Pindul?
Yes, basic lockers are available at the basecamp area. You can store your dry clothes and non-waterproof items there before taking the shuttle to the river.
